How is Ink’d different from other promo sites?
Most sites are just search engines connected to a factory in a different time zone. Ink’d is a tech-enabled service. We use AI to curate the top 1% of products (so you don't have to browse 50,000 bad options), but every order is reviewed, printed, and packed by real experts in our Massachusetts facility.
What brands do you carry?
We stock the retail brands your team actually wants to wear. This includes The North Face, Patagonia, Yeti, Carhartt, Nike, Stanley, and Bella+Canvas. If you don’t see a specific brand in our "Smart Search," just ask, we have accounts with every major supplier in the industry.
Do you use AI for the designs?
No. We use Smart Search to find the best products and manage inventory data. Your artwork, logo placement, and print quality are always managed by human designers. We believe in high-tech search, but high-touch design.
Company Stores & On-Demand
How much does it cost to build a Company Store?
We build, host, and manage your company store for free. You only pay for the merchandise and shipping when an order is placed. There are no monthly hosting fees or "maintenance" charges.
Do I need to buy inventory upfront?
No. This is the biggest advantage of the Ink’d model. We produce items on-demand. You don’t need to guess sizes or buy 500 shirts to sit in a closet. Whether your employee orders one hoodie or fifty, we print and ship it when the order comes in.
How fast can I get a store launched?
Faster than anyone else. While agencies take months, our team can have your fully branded portal live in as little as 72 hours once products are selected.
Can I use Stipends or Gift Codes for my employees?
Yes. This is our most popular feature for New Hire Kits. We can issue digital credit codes (e.g., "$50 Welcome Gift") that employees can redeem in your store. You are invoiced monthly only for the codes that are actually used.
Kitting & Global Fulfillment
Can you handle custom New Hire Kits?
Absolutely. We specialize in kitting. We can bundle a hoodie, a notebook, and a tumbler into a custom-branded box with crinkle paper and a welcome note. We handle the assembly and shipping directly to your remote employee’s doorstep.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We support global teams. We handle the shipping and customs paperwork to ensure your remote staff in London or Toronto gets the same quality gear as your team in Boston.
Can I store my own inventory with you?
Yes. If you have special items (like a custom trophy or pre-printed books), we can warehouse them in our Massachusetts facility and include them in your shipments.
Artwork, Design & Quality
Will I see a proof before you print?
Always. For Bulk Orders: You will receive a digital proof for approval before a single item is printed.For Webstores: The product mockups on your store serve as the proof. Our design team reviews every order to ensure the logo placement matches the mockup exactly.
Can you match my specific brand colors (Pantone)
Yes. We offer Pantone matching for screen printing and embroidery. Note: Colors can vary slightly between a backlit computer screen and physical thread/ink, but our production team is trained to get as close to a perfect match as physics allows.
What file formats do you need?
Vector files are king. .AI, .EPS, or .SVG files give the crispest print. If you only have a JPG or PNG, don’t worry, our design team can usually convert it for you for free.
Shipping, Returns & Support
How fast will I get my order?
On-Demand Webstore Orders: Typically ship in 10–12 business days. Bulk Orders: typically ship in 10 business days after proof approval. In a Rush? Just ask. We can often expedite production to meet firm event deadlines.
What is your Return Policy?
Because every item is custom-printed for you, we cannot accept returns for "buyer's remorse" or wrong sizes. However, we stand 100% behind our quality. If an item arrives defective, misprinted, or damaged, contact us within 7 days and we will replace it or refund it immediately.
How do I track my order?
You will receive an automated email with a tracking link the second your label is printed. You can follow your gear from our dock to your door.
Can I talk to a real person?
We don't use bots or call centers. You can call our shop in Massachusetts at 774-215-0375 (Mon-Thur 9a-5p ET) or email wecare@inkdstores.com. You will talk to a human who knows exactly how screen printing works.
