The Patagonia Brimmer provides 40+ UPF sun protection and instant shade for full days outside. It works just as well for a hike as it does on the river-and it floats if you take an accidental swim. Made in a Fair Trade Certified factory. Main body: 100% recycled polyester stretch ripstop with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish made without intentionally added PFAS, and 40+ UPF sun protection. Underbrim: 4-ply, 100% postconsumer recycled nylon faille made from recycled fishing nets to help reduce ocean plastic pollution; with a DWR finish made without intentionally added PFAS. Sweatband: 100% recycled polyester double knit. Underbrim fabric is certified as bluesign approved. Made in a Fair Trade Certified factory. Features: Main fabric is built of 100% recycled polyester stretch ripstop that's treated with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish made without intentionally added PFAS, and 40+ UPF sun protection and a wide brim help keep the sun off you. Mid-crown fit with a 3" brim; available in two sizes. Foam brim and lightweight construction keep this hat afloat if it ends up in the river. Adjustable drawcord chin strap keeps the hat in place, even in windy conditions. Lightweight, low-profile sweatband offers moisture and temperature management. Made in a Fair Trade Certified factory, which means the people who made this product earned a premium for their labor.
